To Attend During the Current School Year 2026-27As the school year has started, a conversation about your child's needs and learning would be helpful. We can accept applicants for semester one up until Wednesday, September 16th, and for semester two start up to Friday January 8th. Please complete the Inquiry Form, or, call Sandra Baker at 905-648-6655 x 122.

Your child’s application will be carefully reviewed and the next steps will be established. You will receive an automated message that indicates our receipt of your application.

Every application is considered with the student’s needs and well-being in mind.

After our review, should we have questions or seek a conversation, we will be in touch to either request a meeting, seek additional information, or share additonal information. Director of Admissions, Sandra Baker, 905-648-6655 x 122 is always avaiable for questions and conversation.

All applications are processed starting in the second week of January, and continuing until school starts, or the class reaches capacity.

Parents of Enrolled students (including students from new families that have completed deposit requirements) receive an Enrollment Notification email. These emails are sent starting in late January and continue through to the end of the enrollment season.

Does HD have an application deadline? Do you have a waiting list? Should we be blessed with an abundance of applicants, we place a priority on families that currently have students enrolled at HDCH, and then offer placement to students from new families in the order they are received. We do not have a deadline--we are limited only by the space available for 125 students in grade nine.

A non-refundable, one-time deposit is required for every new family. Requests for deposit start early in the calendar year.

Tuition fees for Canadian students are found on the Tuition and Financial Aid tab.

Families applying for Financial Aid (between February and May only) will be asked to complete a second, FAST application form.

If enrollment is confirmed, your next step will be to finalize your financial arrangement with the school. The tuition fee package, will be sent out, by lettermail, starting in mid-May. Families sign and return their tuition fee package documents within two weeks.

International students will be contacted individually regarding fees, as students may or may not require homestay and guardianship.
