Applying for Financial Aid
HDCH is blessed with a faithful donor community who donate to our Tuition Assistance Fund. This fund supports the Financial Aid program.
All Financial Aid applicants must first complete the HDCH student application. The student application form includes a question about your interest in Financial Aid. Further information on the Financial Aid application will be forthcoming, starting in winter of the application year.
Financial Aid is awarded according to our Tuition Assistance Policy. Upon approval by the Committee, Financial Aid offers are sent to approved families. Applicants can anticipate a response by mid-July.
Deadline for Financial Aid Applications
The online Financial Aid application portal will be provided to eligible families, by our Director of Finance, in February and through the application period. The application deadline for Financial Aid is mid-April.
Your Tax Return
Your income tax return must follow the submission of the online application and be submitted by mid-April.
Privacy
All information is kept confidential. Results are reviewed by the Director of Finance and the Tuition Assistance Committee.
International Students
Financial Aid is only available to Canadian applicants. It does not apply to international students.
