Applying for Financial Aid
HDCH is blessed with a faithful donor community who donate to our Tuition Assistance Fund. This fund supports the Financial Aid program.
All Financial Aid applicants must first complete the HDCH student application, indicating your interest in support. Further information on the application will be forthcoming, starting in winter of the application year.
Financial Aid is awarded according to our Tuition Assistance Policy. Upon approval by the Committee, Financial Aid offers are sent to approved families. Applicants can anticipate a response by mid-July.
Deadline for Financial Aid Applications
The online Financial Aid application portal will be provided to eligible families, by our Director of Finance, in February and through the application period. Those interested in applying for Financial Aid will be notified of the application deadline; typically in the last week of May.
Your Tax Return
Your income tax return must follow the submission of the online application and be submittedby late May, so be sure to make your tax appointment early!
Privacy
All information is kept confidential. Results are reviewed by the Director of Finance and the Tuition Assistance Committee.
International Students
Financial Aid is available to Canadian applicants. It does not apply to international students.
