Girls Soccer Team brings home OFSAA Bronze
Hamilton District Christian High Girls soccer team earned an OFSAA bronze medal at the girls ‘A’ soccer championship on June 5, 2015 beating Sudbury’s St. Benedict 3-2. The Knights had a tremendous OFSAA run posting a perfect 4-0 record in pool play and earned a quarterfinal win on Friday to head to the semi-finals. HDCH lost to Welland’s Jean Vanier in their semi-final game 4-0 and Welland went on the win the gold.
This team has worked extremely hard all season and were very deserving of their bid to OFSAA. They were motivated to play their best soccer this season at the tournament and to represent their school positively through their excellent performance and sportsmanship. This bronze represents the first OFSAA girls team medal in the history of the school.
